Lived up to the hype and then some. Menu was thoughtful, service knowledgeable and friendly, chef very accommodating of gluten free adjustments (had gf pasta and bread available and open to substitutions even on happy hour menu), portions were shareable, food was delectable locavore fare, drinks were innovative, and waterfront view was the cherry on top. Overall a luxurious experience at a reasonable price point. Lovely lunch with friend after the SAM Hokusai exhibit - this will be a new tradition. Park 1 block up hill at the garage on Union (under the SAM) or use valet. We were able to book able for 2 with a view with a phone call at 2.30pm on Saturday - less than 5 minute wait. Recommend reservations for peak times.
Such a fun restaurant at The Four Seasons Hotel. The bottomless mimosa brunch, $80/pp, is a great deal with 3 courses of delicious food and mimosas, with a view of the sound. Karla was beyond stellar at the bar and was so sweet to help celebrate a birthday-this service is what sets restaurants apart! Highly recommend!!
Wow wow wow wow wow this burger is fantastic! I’m not sure what is on it, nothing stuck out when I looked over the menu, but it must have some special cheese, caramelized onion, sauce combination maybe? Idk but it’s an absolute must! The woman next to me at the bar said she comes from California every few weeks to have it + another woman across the bar said just seeing it made her order it. The fries were also great, thick but not overly thick, and crispy. The oysters were great as well! The autumn drink was so strong lol it was tiny but one was enough for me!
The view is also unbearably beautiful!
Goldfinch Tavern is an upscale restaurant with views of Seattle’s waterfront. The menu includes upscale dishes in addition to tavern staples like a cheeseburger. But being inside of the Four Seasons, it is of course a former wagyu burger. I had one of their smoked old fashioned cocktails which was excellent. The service was top notch with very attentive wait staff who check on us frequently. Overall, the Goldfinch Tavern is a great place to have an enjoyable meal with waterfront views.
Note that valet parking is a separate charge and not complimentary for guests of the restaurant.
Gave it another try for the food and it was pathetic. The clams were undercooked, some of them were not even opened and they were not properly cleaned. The pasta dishes were very heavy, we were super hungery but could only eat like 4-5 spoons, I would suggest the chef to consider the recipe accordingly as it was not well balanced. Also, one of the pasta dishes was really salty because of the cheese choice, I believe. Such as waste of our night and money.
On the bright side though, our service was amazing as always, our server Tom was really humble and accommodating. Also, they brought a special marshmallow dessert for our anniversary night.
Old review of the bar- Our bartender Rico was amazing and took care of every tiny detail for us. The food was good, they can do better like the Crab Benedict was really pungent. Still, I would highly recommend it for breakfast or just hanging out at the bar for a drink with the amazing service.
I really recommend only going to the bar and mainly for appetizers and drinks.
Upscale restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel on the Seattle waterfront. They have an interesting and inventive menu. Hostess and servers were very nice and attentive to everything. Cocktails were top shelf. I started with the Cesar salad that was different, in that it was a half little gem with shaved pecorino and a large slice underneath. It was ok but kinda small. One party member had the crispy avocado heirloom tomato with pea tendrils salad that was very nice. I opted for the salmon with a nice smoky flavor. Someone had the New York strip they really enjoyed. I ordered the tasty roasted sunchokes for a different kind of side dish. Finished the meal with the vanilla cheesecake that was on the creamier side and not as dense as most I’ve had. Very elegant and flavorful meal.
I was brought here for a business dinner and was blown away by the food and our extremely attentive wait staff. He was able to provide very specific recommendations for our palet and was able to perfectly assess timing to inquire on food, …
I felt like royalty whilst dining here! My water glass was never less than half empty and the service was impeccably outstanding from the moment I arrived. The attention to detail in every dish was remarkable. Chicken breast was cooked perfectly and the skin had amazing flavor. Every morsel on the plate was delicious and the flavor profile of ingredients was perfect. Side of roasted carrots were a bit crunchier that I'm used to, but they had a fresh quality flavor. The apple sorbet had a very mild flavor and was just the right size at the point I didn't think I could eat any more. The live music was a nice touch to the atmosphere. Bravo to all the staff, both front and back of house!
